SUMMARY:Hispanic Medal of Honor Exhibit at STC Mid Valley
DESCRIPTION:South Texas College invites everyone to come celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month at our Mid Valley Campus in Weslaco.  We are proud to be the first in the state of Texas to host the new Hispanic Medal of Honor Society's exhibit. The exhibit honors the contributions of those of Hispanic descent who are recipients of our nation's highest honor\, including Jose Lopez\, Pedro Cano\, and Alfredo Freddy Gonzalez from the Rio Grande Valley.  \nThe exhibit is currently on display at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and will ship directly to South Texas College. We invite students\, veteran's organizations\, and community to come visit the exhibit.\n\nThe Hispanic Medal of Honor exhibit will be at the Mid Valley Campus from October 5   9\, 2015\, with the opening reception scheduled for Monday\, October 5th at 7:00PM at the Lecture Hall G191.
