DESCRIPTION:Calling all heroes! With an urgent need for blood across South Texas\, your help is greatly needed! By donating blood\, you can help save the lives of children who have cancer and other conditions\, as well as victims of car accidents and other traumatic injuries. A blood drive will be held in Weslaco on Friday\, January 31st\, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Knapp Medical Center\, 1408 E. 8th Street\, Weslaco.\n\n\nTo thank you for your life-giving blood donation\, all presenting donors will receive a very cool and cozy long-sleeve T-shirt   which will officially commemorate your unselfish gift of life at the beginning of this new year!\n\nPlease schedule your appointment to donate blood on Jan. 31 by calling Michael Swartz of Knapp Medical Center's Marketing Department at 956-973-5142\, or e-mail MSwartz@PrimeHealthCare.com.\n\nMany thanks to all the blood donor heroes in our community who are helping these children and other patients during their time of greatest need !
