DESCRIPTION:Run through the Gladys Porter Zoo as you encounter what a baby sea turlte must endure on their rush to and through the ocean.\n\nThis 1-mile fun run starts at 8:00 a.m. in the Zoo's parking lot and ends inside the Zoo where there will be photo opps and fun activities for the kids.\n\nThe cost is $15 per person. This covers entrance to the Zoo\, the race medal and bib.\n\nRunners can also purchase a limited edition dri-fit t-shirt for $15.\n\nPacket pickup will take place on June 9th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Gladys Porter Zoo Meadows Room.\n\nProceeds from this run benefit the Zoo's sea turtle conservation projects.
