“JIM FARBER: WOOD CARVER EXHIBIT”
Mr. Jim Farber spent his life making replicas of ships and
wood carvings. Countless hours were dedicated to studying
dimensions, as well as details for each one. The Weslaco
Museum proudly presents his carvings and ships for the
June Gallery Exhibit, interspersed with many tools from
several generations. This exhibit is dedicated to the
Fathers of the Rio Grande Valley.
So many celebrations happen during the month of June;
Weddings, anniversaries, and FATHER’S DAY on Sunday
the 20th. The Weslaco Museum invites you to “BRING DAD
TO THE WESLACO MUSEUM” on the 19th. FREE Hot
Dogs for those who come to see the June exhibit. Soft drinks
and chips will be available at a small charge.
