We’re so excited about this event. Our goal is to support children living with diabetes and their families through this virtual event.
There are 11 challenges to choose from: 10 miles, 25 miles, 50 miles, 75 miles, 100 miles, 150 miles, 200 miles, 300 miles, 400 miles, 500+ miles to be completed any time between November 1st to November 30th, so aim high since you have the whole month to complete your distance goal! We know you can do it!
You can choose to do the ride locally, where the route is up to you, or even on a trainer or stationary bike in your home or at the gym (Remember to track your mileage!).
Everyone who signs up will receive a unique Ride for diabetes neck gaiter to wear proudly to show your support!
Help spread the word and raise awareness through social media! Please share this page with friends and family, and DONT forget to share your ride photos on Instagram and Facebook by tagging us and using the following hashtag #STJDAride4diabetes.
We will keep an eye out for them and motivate you throughout the challenge.
*In addition to riding to raise diabetes awareness you can start a facebook fundraiser for our charity South Texas Juvenile Diabetes Association that coincides with your riding goal and earn prizes! (https://www.facebook.com/fundraisers/)
A Facebook Fundraiser allows you to share your story and collect donations directly through Facebook. When you create a Facebook Fundraiser, contributions show up in real-time and count towards your fundraising goal.
