Rio Grande Valley Breastfeeding Coalition Health Fair

The Rio Grande Valley Breastfeeding Coalition (RGVBFC) is a non-profit organization of local agencies and individuals joined in a collaborative effort to promote, educate, and support breastfeeding. Our objective is to help improve the health of mothers and babies by increasing breastfeeding awareness in the communities.

In recognition of AUGUST, WORLD BREASTFEEDING MONTH, the RGVBFC will be hosting a FREE Health Fair on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 9 am to 12 pm at the Knapp Medical Center Conference Center in Weslaco and is FREE TO THE PUBLIC. Door Prizes, Raffles, and Health screenings will be provided as well.

We invite all individuals interested in learning about the benefits of breastfeeding for infants, children, mothers, and communities should attend. Expectant mothers, their families, and health care providers are encouraged to attend.
