Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Donna, Texas
Terms: Full Time/Hourly/Commission
Salary/Rate: $13.00 per hour
Requirements: Must be high school graduate
About us: Sentinel Integra Insurance Services was established in 2014 and acquired Crockett Insurance Center in 2023 as an Independent Insurance Company that offers Auto, Commercial, Home and Life Insurance Products.
About the role: Customer Service Representative assists customers and manages insurance policies on behalf of our insurance company. Duties include attracting new clients and answering their questions, helping clients choose the best policy and making sure all legal requirements are met, answering phone calls or emails from customers to answer questions, and maintaining expert knowledge about company products or services to best help customers.
Responsibilities:
· Answering phones.
· Assisting walk-in customers with payments and endorsements.
· Complete administrative tasks including maintaining records and handling policy renewals.
· Respond to clients’ insurance-related questions and issues.
· Scheduling insurance reviews for customers with the agents to go over their current policy.
· Thoroughly researching and analyzing insurance policies.
· Occasionally working with Underwriters to adapt policies.
· Providing introductory information (welcome call) to new customers.
· Following up with clients or customers to check that they are still satisfied with any purchases.
· Let customers or clients know about additional products or services.
· Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client’s or customer’s questions.
· Escalating queries and concerns.
· Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service.
· Work with agents to establish and meet marketing goals
· Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services
· Use a customer-focused need-based review process to educate customers about insurance options
Candidate Requirements:
· High School Graduate
· 3 years of customer service experience
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Thorough and keen attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with a large workload.
· Ability to use the software utilized within the company.
· Interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Multitasking and organizational skills.
· Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily.
· Ability to process payments and handle money.
· Attentiveness and patience.
· Time-management skills.
· Bilingual (Spanish)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
