As a Shop Lead (Auto-Fleet-Parkway), you'll assign work to Technicians at all levels. You'll mentor and train and ensure high-quality customer service.

What is the work?
Management (Lead duties) / Mechanics / Training:
Oversees job duties of all Technician levels
Opens / closes repair orders and issues jobs to techs as needed
Explains / aids / prioritizes equipment failure and failure analysis (including break downs)
Controls flow of inoperative and repaired equipment
Oversees shop operation in the absence of Supervisor
Issue POs to outside vendors
Mentors / trains lower-level Technicians
Designs / implements preventative maintenance schedules
Assists in auditing overall work completed in the shop for quality workmanship; provides feedback to Technicians
Ensures appropriate resources are available to meet customer demands
Provides / ensures a high-quality customer service experience
Recommends appropriate changes to internal process
What is your background?
3+ years of industry-related experience
Extensive experience in mechanical work
Experience in leadership
Current Texas driver's license / CDL if applicable
