Richard Hinojosa earned his B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin. After a brief time in medical school, he discovered his passion for law while working at the Texas Civil Rights Project. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Driven by a desire to help people through difficult situations, Richard founded Hinojosa Law, PLLC, grounded in hard work, creativity, and respectful advocacy. He serves on the Houston Parks Board, UT Natural Sciences Advisory Board, and the UT School of Human Ecology Advisory Board. He also coaches youth sports and helps fund various scholarships for students across Texas, including an endowed full paid scholarship for mid-Rio Grande Valley students attending UT Austin.
