Weslaco Chamber ambassadors hold quarterly meeting; leaders named for 2018-2019
The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held their 1st Quarter Meeting at Don Pedro's Restaurant in Weslaco on November 6. The Weslaco Area Chamber Ambassadors are a highly visible group of dedicated volunteers who serve as representatives of the Chamber in the community. Serving as an ambassador is an avenue to achieve high level involvement with the Chamber and community. Weslaco Chamber awards Man, Woman of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award
The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual membership and awards luncheon Wednesday, October 30 at the Knapp Medical Conference Center. The Chamber awarded Man, Woman, and Business of the Year, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award. In addition, Volunteer and Board Member were recognized. The 2019 Man of the Year award went to Joe Vidales, Weslaco’s resident expert historian.
