Gladys Porter Zoo Hosts a Salute to Our Troops

Brownsville, Texas (November 5, 2025)—The Gladys Porter Zoo staff would like to salute the brave men and women who have served our country by offering them a special discounted admission rate this Veteran’s Day Weekend. From November 7^th to 11^th, the Gladys Porter Zoo will host A Salute to Our Troops Appreciation Days in honor of all current and former military members. From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., military members and their families will receive a discounted admission price of $6.00 per adult and $4.00 per child (ages 2 to 13).
