UTRGV Small Business Development Center Expands Services to Weslaco Area

WESLACO, TX – The UTRGV Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is proud to announce the expansion of its services into the Weslaco area, providing increased accessibility and support to entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Mid-Valley region.

As part of this initiative, UTRGV SBDC Business Advisor Luke Killion will now be available once a week at the UTRGV Center for Innovation and Commercialization, conveniently located in Weslaco. This new outreach effort brings expert guidance closer to the community, offering one-on-one business advising and resources tailored to those looking to start, grow, or strengthen their businesses.

Luke Killion brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as a Solutions Consultant at Forged Technology Solutions and as a Business Advisor with the UTRGV APEX Accelerator. He holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Schreiner University in Kerrville.

Entrepreneurs and small business owners are encouraged to take advantage of this new local resource. Whether you’re looking to launch a new venture or expand an existing one, the SBDC offers no-cost advising in areas such as business planning, financing, and operations
